Thierry Mugler's cologne sample came like that. It was relatively big (I think, 2.5 ml) and I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do with that amount of perfume at once. Of course, it was a cologne but it was Mugler's cologne! I wasted the most part of it. The next one I dared to open only when I got a vial to transfer the content into.Undinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05292100499371921334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5453792360015486892.post-62502969478037837282011-10-01T10:06:46.324-07:002011-10-01T10:06:46.324-07:00Gail, I'm glad to hear that the deluxe sample ...Gail, I'm glad to hear that the deluxe sample bottles work well for you. They're a lot easier to fill than the 1-ml vials, and seem to never leak, so at some point I may discontinue the little vials and go exclusively to the deluxe samples. Regarding new perfumes, I'm still waiting on some reports from testers, but soon will be writing about Salamanca and the other new fragrances.

Ines, I've only encountered the break-stopper sample once, but hope that all manufacturers will realize what an astoundingly bad idea it is and prevent it from proliferating.Doc Ellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08376377441504529063noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5453792360015486892.post-28449431796189569472011-09-30T01:26:47.451-07:002011-09-30T01:26:47.451-07:00I've come across this type of samples and so f...I've come across this type of samples and so far haven't actually sampled any of those as the stopper usually breaks in the top while I'm trying to get it out. :)
Extremely user unfriendly and basically wrong for marketing purposes.Ineshttp://alliam-aredhead.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5453792360015486892.post-30302120524490197522011-09-29T23:48:28.906-07:002011-09-29T23:48:28.906-07:00Those sample packages sound awful! Happily, I recently received some samples packaged in tiny little (1ml?) roller ball bottles. They didn't ship as well as the regular glass vials (some leaked a little) but they are very easy to use. My favorite samples bottles of all time are still your deluxe samples, Ellen. The bottles ship and store very nicely and the generous amount of fragrance allows me to really try the products before I make up my mind.

Speaking of trying samples: I am still carefully using up the sample vials from the recent test. I am especially enjoying Salamanca. I really like it just as it is.

GailAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
